《星球大战 9》来得比想象的要快一些：卢卡斯影业宣布，《星球大战》第 9 章故事将于 2019 年 5 月 24 日上映，将为新三部曲画下完美句号。《侏罗纪世界》导演 Colin Trevorrow 将执导这部影片。另外，迪士尼影业还公布了其它三部影片的上映日期：真人版《狮子王》定档 2019 年 7 月 19 日，《冰雪奇缘 2》定档 2019 年 11 月 27 日，《夺宝奇兵 5》定档 2020 年 7 月 10 日。
