贝尔出生在英国，当过特种兵，主持出演过许多冒险类的生存指南节目，比如有名的“《荒野求生》系列”，还出过书。被中国粉丝尊称为“贝爷”的他，空手道达到了黑带级别，还是一位国际演讲家……总之，连男人都觉得他特别帅。
